The Scholarship honoring Master Sergeant (MSG) Roy P. His remarkable actions during the Vietnam War earned him the prestigious Congressional Medal of Honor, a testament to his extraordinary sacrifice and resilience. The Master Sergeant (MSG) Roy P. Benavidez Memorial Scholarship aims to inspire current and future students in El Campo, Texas, reminding them of the incredible legacy left by such a remarkable individual.

Lizzy Flota - 2024 Scholarship Awardee (El Campo High School, El Campo, Texas)

Morgan Garcia - 2024 Scholarship Awardee (El Campo High School, El Campo, Texas) 

The Benavidez Collection, a collaboration between the Benavidez Family and Triple Nikel, stands as a powerful testament to a legacy of giving that has significantly impacted both local students and the broader community. Named after the heroic life of a Medal of Honor recipient and US Army Special Forces member, the collection not only honors his bravery but also opens doors for future generations.

The scholarships funded through this collection provide essential financial support to aspiring students in El Campo High School, allowing them to pursue higher education without the burden of overwhelming debt. This initiative enhances the academic landscape by fostering a sense of community, encouraging young minds to explore their potential. Juliana Vasquez - 2024 Scholarship Awardee (El Campo High School, El Campo, Texas) 

The Benavidez collection serves as a reminder of the importance of service, resilience, and perseverance, encouraging students to uphold these values in their own lives. The legacy of giving established by the Benavidez Collection will hopefully create a ripple through the community, empowering countless students to reach for their dreams while honoring the memory of a true hero.

Robert Hopper III - 2024 Scholarship Awardee (El Campo High School, El Campo, Texas) 

With the sale of every product in the Benavidez Collection, Triple Nikel will donate proceeds to the MSG Roy P. Benavidez Memorial Scholarship Fund.  The fund is managed by MSG Benavidez’s children - Denise Prochazka, Noel Benavidez, and Yvette Benavidez Garcia.  The scholarship was established in 1992 by a close friend of MSG Benavidez; Lionel Garza (former Principal of El Campo High School).   The MSG Benavidez Scholarship has been awarded to over 150 students since 1992.  The fund aims to award scholarships to five students per year.  The family’s efforts are a testament to their love for their community and a promise to invest in the future of El Campo, Tx. As they continue to cultivate hope and opportunity for local students, the Benavidez family stand as a shining example of how one family's compassion can create ripples of positive change, transforming lives one scholarship at a time!
