Released in 1975, this song sky rocketed amongst the Latin American community as a rally cry to unite and be proud of the heritage created by years of colonialism, war and migration. The Latino community is one made up of so many ethnicities, that the word LATINO is almost synonymous with race.
We embedded all of the Latin American Country Flags into the word LATINO so you too can boldly proclaim your heritage. We decided to keep the US Flag on the right sleeve as a reminder that we are US Citizens, but proudly celebrate the community and heritage from which we come from.
